Current Automation Mbombela has made a company pledge to support one major charity every year. Even though we are a small company, we are committed to giving back. Over the past six years we have supported three main charities, in their fundraising golf days. (Ps. None of us play golf!). Supporting school children; wildlife and poor communities.
Our first was a cricket tour fundraising day for our local Curro school at Mbombela Golf Club. The next few years, we supported the EWT - Endangered Wildlife Trust, with great days at the Malelane Country Club. And this last year 2024 we supported the MORE Community Foundation with the Extra Mile Golf day at the Mbombela Golf Club.
We enjoy the day with the players and sponsor 3 great prizes for closest to the pin on a Par 3, with a main cash prize of R10 000 for a hole in one! Unfortunately or fortunately this great prize has not yet been won. However we donate the cash to the charity!
Our 2025 donation has been to the EWT - Endangered Wildlife Trust for the Vulture Rescue operation. The most devastating events that have occurred in our Lowveld region!
